How many pages fit in each spine size?

Please see our sizing guide, based on using 80gsm paper, to see what size spine you will need for your document. Alternatively, you can purchase a spine measurer here, which is a tool to show the spine size required for your document, without the need to count pages.

What formats and colours do you do?

We offer a large variety of formats and colours, which you can see on our website. If you are interested in something not shown, please contact us.

What do I do with the washer?

The washer is simply required to keep the machine in place in its packaging, so there is no need to keep it.

Can we use our own front and back covers in your range of spines?

Our system allows for the binding of any material, but some thick cards and acetates may not lay flat without being scored or creased. For more information, contact us.

STAPLE BINDING

Where should I staple on the endsheets my pages for best binding results?

We advise you staple 2mm from both edges of the binding edge, with one staple between the two.

Do I require a special stapler?

You will need a heavy duty stapler and we recommend our Pro Stapler.

WIRE & COMB BINDING

Can I use my own Punch binding machine?

Our wires and combs can be used on all machines, but they are more compatible with their own brand, Renz.
