Traditionally, a one-off hardback book would cost in excess of £200, but now Unibind Systems can produce the same book for just £20. We have made this possible by automating the process of making one-off hardback books. As Unibind Systems’s Managing Director, Tsol Keoshgerian, explains, “traditional bookmakers have to make the covers by hand, which is very labour intensive. Our machine produces 400 finished books per hour, with just a single operator”.

With our new capability, Unibind Systems first saw a lucrative market in photobooks and now 80% of photobooks made in the UK are presented in a Unibind cover.
